No matter what I did, I couldn&#8217;t add it back (but I could add \/ remove others).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This trick from <a href=\"https:\/\/superuser.com\/questions\/1702853\/cannot-pin-a-certain-drive-to-quick-access-in-windows-11\">SuperUser.com<\/a> fixed it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<cite>There is a file in&nbsp;<code>%AppData%\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Recent\\AutomaticDestinations<\/code>, with name&nbsp;<code>f01b4d95cf55d32a.automaticDestinations-ms<\/code>. This file stores the information about the folders you&#8217;ve pinned. What I think is, this file somehow got corrupted on your computer, yk, since Windows 11 is still under development. When you delete this file, it is automatically remade within second \u2014 And you&#8217;ll get desktop, documents, downloads, and pictures pinned by default.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note that the file isn&#8217;t recreated &#8220;within a second&#8221; until you do something with File Explorer &#8211; in my case I didn&#8217;t have it open at all, I opened it, and all was right in the world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For some reason my Documents shortcut was missing from the quickstart side panel in file explorer.
