{"id":65,"date":"2007-08-03T09:40:42","date_gmt":"2007-08-03T14:40:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ericgharrison.wordpress.com\/2007\/08\/03\/a-great-quote"},"modified":"2007-08-03T09:40:42","modified_gmt":"2007-08-03T14:40:42","slug":"a-great-quote","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ericgharrison.com\/?p=65","title":{"rendered":"A great quote!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"msgcns!E4092A968B7C1A54!254\" class=\"bvMsg\">\n<div>Once again I went down a rabbit hole on the Internet.\u00a0\u00a0Eventually I ended up at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.actsofgord.com\">http:\/\/www.actsofgord.com<\/a> and read about a video game store owner&#8217;s experiences&#8230;\u00a0 Many of those revolved around being sued, or suing people&#8230;<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Here&#8217;s the great quote: &quot;I remember a happier time when people used to threaten to sue because\u00a0they were in the right.&quot;.\u00a0 <\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>Ah so true.\u00a0 Now people sue just to inflict their will on others, or extort money from them.\u00a0 These days when I hear about another lawsuit, be it class action or otherwise, the first thing I think of is &quot;who has the most money?&quot;.\u00a0 Chances are, if it&#8217;s a lawsuit between individuals or companies whoever has the most money will prevail.\u00a0 If it&#8217;s a class action lawsuit, then the only people who benefit are the lawyers.
